Clinton – Specialist Guide
Clinton is a professional safari guide, best describing himself as a passionate naturalist, having fine-tuned interests and skills in the fields of both fauna and flora including a good knowledge of photography.
He has extensive experience with running and hosting lodge and mobile tented safaris, and has worked with several film crews. He thoroughly enjoys family travel and walking safaris. He is licenced to guide in both Zimbabwe and Botswana.
Hayley – Operations
Hayley has had 30 plus years of experience in lodge and operations management and has travelled extensively herself in Southern Africa.
She’s a whizz at the numbers and the office administration as well as handling the mobile reservations, sales and marketing.
She manages the logistics, procurement and staff menu and hospitality training in her stride and is our feet on the ground in the Botswana office.
Ursula – Reservations
Ursula also brings over 30 years’ experience not only in travel consultancy, but also in trip hosting, itinerary design, lodge management and operations, and holds an IATA qualification.
Her marketing and sales experience has taken her to numerous destinations, travel shows, and workshops. She is our feet on the ground running the reservations office based in Zimbabwe.
Thomas Semata – Operations & Staff Manager | Safari Cook & Driver
Thomas Semata grew up in Botswana’s beautiful Tuli Block, where his love and appreciation for the bush began at an early age.
Tom joined Safari Life Africa in March 2018 as a cook and driver and, through hard work, dedication and a natural ability to lead, has steadily worked his way up to become our Operations & Staff Manager. He plays an integral role behind the scenes, ensuring our safari equipment, camp logistics and staff are organised and ready for every adventure.
Despite his management responsibilities, Tom still loves being out in the bush and continues to cook on many of our safaris. His food consistently receives wonderful praise from our guests, and there is something particularly special about the meals he creates over an open fire in the middle of the African wilderness.
Tom is also a respected leader amongst both our permanent and freelance staff. Calm, dependable and hardworking, he leads by example and is always willing to step in wherever he is needed.
Having grown with Safari Life Africa over the years, Tom has become a valued and trusted member of our team and an important part of the Safari Life family.
